Koenigesgg CCXR

In the world of motoring the Swedes are known for one thing. Safety Safety Safety. They gave us tones of Volvos with a million airbags and technology which meant we were "Unable" to crash it (unless we were so ashamed of it we accidently did on purpose). Not only have they given us Volvos but they have given us SAAB. They also are obsessed with safety!! So if I was to say I found something Swedish yet not so safe would you believe me. I know I wouldn't! But believe it or don't believe it I have found something truly remarkable.

Koenigsegg (which I can't pronounce) are the first ever Swedish car company that have had a go at making a Super Car and I'm not talking a safety freak version. I'm talking very very fast like Lambo style. The big super car companies should be very scared because Koenigsegg have a car that gives off a MEGA HUGE 650 bhp. If you convert all those break horse powers into speed we're talking a top speed of 250mph. You might be wondering how they have squeezed that much speed out of it but when it comes to being practical the Swedes aren't far of the Germans. They didn't make all those Volvos for nothing. You may be wondering what practicality has to do with the speed but in this car it has quite a lot. When you buy a super car you buy it mainly for its speed but sometimes you may buy it because its fast and it has a convertible roof. So at Koenigsegg instead of making the car heavier and adding metal bars in to a keep the convertible roof sturdy; weighing it down, they have clipped the roof on. So the car is a convertible but it adds no extra weight. Now you're probably thinking, well where do I put the roof once I have unclipped it? They have thought of that as well because if you open up the bonnet there is a slot which you put the roof into. There is also another thing which this car has and I call it Witch Craft. Somehow they have managed to install all the cool gadgets in a car that you would want yet it has hardly effected the ability of the car to go quickly. Most of the time, if you add things like Sat Nav and Air Con it weighs the car down but not this one. This is now one of my favorite super cars. I seriously didn't think I would be saying something like that about a Swedish car.
